Floris Books

Floris Books is an independent publishing company based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Founded in 1976, literally at a kitchen table, now our books are brought to you from our lovely office overlooking the Union Canal and the hills of Edinburgh.

We publish in two main areas: books for children and non-fiction holistic and alternative living books for adults.

Floris is the largest publisher of children’s books in Scotland. We have board books, international stories in translation, nostalgic classics, contemporary originated picture books, and our Kelpies list–Scottish books for children everywhere. Please, dive in and explore our world!
