House of Anansi Press

Founded in 1967, House of Anansi Press is an independent publishing house known for its award-winning books that celebrate and uplift the diversity found across Canada and abroad. The House got its start publishing authors such as Michael Ondaatje, Northrop Frye, and Margaret Atwood. Since then, House of Anansi has gone on to publish critically acclaimed books such as The Lost Words (Robert Macfarlane), The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart (Holly Ringland), The Break (katherena vermette), and many more.
